Pros
I have been a Paralegal for 10 years and worked for several firms and this firm feels like a family. The Office Administrator of my location makes sure that everyone is heard, and problems are solved without hesitation. In the past I have found that when there is an issue my former attorneys lay the blame on the staff and speak to the staff in a way that no one should be spoken to. At Borton Petrini that is not allowed. Here they treat everyone with respect. If there is an issue my attorney, office administrator, or the other paralegals buckles down with you and helps to fix the problem. If we need something to get the job done we just need to speak with the admin here and it gets done. I myself have been having medical issues due to a bump ion changing insurance from my last job to this one and they have been on my side helping and ensuring me that the time off to take care of these issues is not an issue with the firm. Your health first as the OA says. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work and a better support system in place to do that work.
Cons
After my first year here I can honestly say that there are no real cons to working here. There may be a time where I am flustered with something but i express that to either my attorney, OA or Firm OA and it gets handled. So really NO CONS
