Bose is a company that takes great pride in its products. The mantra of "different and better" is held very deeply and really informs the technical and business decisions. The company is not fast-moving, but also is not afraid to take risks and try new things.
Cons
The constant influance (sometimes interfrerence) of Dr. Bose, who picks and chooses unusual oportunities to exert influence. This creates a constant atmosphere of worriing about what Dr. Bose will think. The culture is extremely conservative and consensus-based, it feels very slow-moving to someone used to the pace of a dot-com business.
