Pros
I have 30 years experience with Boston Scientific. I retired April 01, 2022. I have experience in numerous areas of the company; including aprox. 8+ years working directly with techs and engineers on a regular basis (in different Pilot Labs), testing and helping develope new products. I worked in numerous production areas over my 30 years of employment. On 2 separate occasions, I was chosen to represent my talents in my field on a 3 week job relocations in Mexico, and also a 6 month relocation in California.
Cons
With my 30 years experience with Boston Scientific, I wish I would have expanded my options to work up the ladder a bit more. When one of the areas I was working in, several years back, sold out to Mexico, I took a severance package. On behalf of Boston Scientific, I went to college for 2 years, Business Marketing and Management. Due to a family issue, I was forced to return back into the work field immediately. I financially needed a job, but had no time to find immediate employment related to my degree. I heard Boston Scientific was hiring, so I went and applied. I was immediately rehired. The only thing was, the temp agency was the ones doing the recruiting. I started employment, but was hired on as an Assembler 1...again. I was an Assembler 111 when I originally left. I felt I should have applied for jobs online to get hired on directly by Boston Scientific, and to resume my status, and to expand my opportunities with my college degree.
