No Guidance, poor culture - Process Technician Boston Scientific Employee Review

Colleagues were very hard to get along with when I first started, there was a terrible culture where a few of the technicians felt as if they ran the R&D lab themselves while doing minimal work, spoke to supervisors like they were above them and didn't listen to any advice. There was just an awful toxic atmosphere within the lab and nothing was done by management or supervisors to help with it. No proper delegation of work and on my first day I was just plonked into the lab without any proper introductions to the team or what exactly my role was going to be. Training was very slow and not organised by supervisors. I didn't stay there long as I was miserable, work was boring and the lab was toxic.
