Pros
Great people all around. BU is in a great location, right near Kenmore square, so there are great food and afterwork hang out options. Researching at BU lets you collaborate with people at the top of their fields through BU, MIT, and Harvard.
Cons
BU is big (the 4th largest employer in Boston) so working there does come with the headaches of dealing with such a giant organization. Once a month paychecks can be a pain for those just learning how to budget and academic researcher salaries aren't exactly the most generous in the world...
