For the UK business group only people the management likes are promoted. Promotions and appraisals are not based on capability or technical knowledge. You may not be serving the role you were hired for. You won't get any promotion or appraisal even if you show an actual body of work. All depends on the opinion of UK management Compensation is not upto industry standards Below average appraisals ( less than 5% joking?) Too much biased management and politics especially UK business and does not favour Indian employees and if they do it's only those who they like which may not be due to work. Indian managers don't have any powers. Only people who copy paste technology from other LOBs are promoted. Original work is not appreciated. Projects are delayed due to inept engineering and product management. QA just does copy and paste or really bad code from other LOBs You will be Targeted if you raise concerns and your growth will be suppressed.
