Your job description and your title look impressive on a resume or cover letter. It also sounds impressive in future job interviews. This place acts as an ok stepping stone for a better opportunity elsewhere.
Cons
-Very little pay with no opportunities to advance -Having to work overtime that you are not allowed to claim or report -Being a taxi service for your clients and running up the millage on your car -Very poor organization climate at all levels -Upper level management does not care (or even hear) about your suggestions -A lot of the upper level management don’t even hold degrees that are related to human services (it shows) -Extremely high turnover. It’s bad for you and the clients. -Lack of boundaries -Working with coworkers who do not have an education in field even remotely relates to human services/social sciences -Lack of training or preparation for your job -Lack of guidance. You’ll make it up as you go.
