Business Outlook
Pros
High-tech equipment, knowledgeable field crews, decent PTO benefits. Pay is OK, but is beaten out by several companies in the industry. Field crews have access to their own laptops while out in the field, which reduces the need to spend extra time processing data in the office.
Cons
Corporate structure is disorganized. Terrible communication from management all the way down. In Richmond, there is excessive travel combined with Project Managers who generally give incomplete/confusing field packages and demand unreasonable time frames for completing field work. They also hired tons of office workers after they received a large contract, but after losing the contract a couple months later, most of those workers were laid off.
