Pros
Amazing co-workers, supportive team environment. The job itself is amazing experience and super engaging. Great mid level management. Lots of communication and discussion. Great place to start a career in medicine, especially if you plan to continue on to higher education with lots of opportunities for new grads and those who lack certs or patient care experience (as aides or techs). Smaller hospital allows for tight knit dept bonding while still allowing for lots of collaboration between depts. Beautiful views of the Bridgers from the few windows that aren't boarded up for construction.
Cons
Overall, BDH admins do not care about much other than profit at the top. Everything is under construction right now. They refuse to address the issue concerning extremely low wages for both the state and country, especially when you factor in how expensive it is to live in or around Bozeman. Considering we work in healthcare, benefits are subpar. This has all resulted in retention issues across the hospital. Unfortunately it will take new Billings Clinic in a few years with forced competition to make any change to that.
