8yThank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We try to create a flexible work life balance and I am glad to know that it has allowed you to make you family your priority. We are glad that Bozzuto is the type of organization that allows individuals to advance in their career. However, we make every effort to promote employees based on merit and their ability to be successful in their new role. Most of our managers and directors were once successful property accountants who we have promoted from within. Therefore, at one point they did understand the role and what it takes to be successful. Some of our managers and directors on occasions have to close properties. Although we don’t want this to occur on a regular basis, it allows them to understand what is being done and what changes need to be made to ensure our accountants are successful. Based on your comments, we need to spend more time talking directly to the accounting team to ensure that we are hearing directly from you regarding what we need to do to improve this. As a result, we will be holding quarterly departmental meetings so that employees can voice their concerns. Also know that I have an open door policy. Please reach out directly to me with your feedback.
We are also working with operations find ways to enhance comradery between the two departments. Thank you for your suggestion. More frequent interaction between the two departments will definitely improve the relationship.
