7yThank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I want you to know we appreciate hearing your concerns so that we can address them and try to make changes when possible. We are glad to hear that you think very highly of our CEO. Toby is a fantastic leader who wants to make sure every department, including accounting, feels valued and respected. We apologize for the inclement weather situation that occurred and we have learned from that experience. As we announced, going forward, we will make sure that we communicate all weather changes as early as possible. We will also follow the DC federal government policy.
We have made changes within the accounting group and we hope those changes have made it a (better)good place to work. Our intention is to promote the most qualified individuals. If you believe you are not receiving constructive feedback to help you grow and advance in your career, then please let our leadership team know. You can also always come directly to me and I will ensure you receive helpful feedback. I have spoken to several accountants regarding their concerns for career advancement and outlined a growth path for them. In order to assist you in obtaining your goals, it’s ideal to have a one on one conversation so that we can create a career plan for you. We have many opportunities for advancement and we want each employee to have the ability to work with their supervisor and the leadership team to get the assistance they need to be successful.
