As an African American woman and someone who has grown in the organization over the past decade, I can say with conviction that women of color are not only "relatable" but wanted and needed throughout the organization and at every level of leadership. Our commitment to this has most recently been acknowledged by CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion and our designation as a Top Workplace for Female Executives by the National Association of Female Executives. Despite this, there is always room for improvement, and as a Bozzuto leader and Partner, I would like the opportunity to better understand what gets in the way of our diversity and inclusion goals.
