Pros

- Female friendly work environment. Our president, Stephanie Williams, sets the tone for true equality and inclusion. From their excellent family leave policy, to the way they support the rights of new mothers to effectively feed their babies and their unbelievably great family healthcare options, Bozzuto encourages a strong work/life balance, allowing for success at home and at work. - Great training program. In-person classes offered in every market along with clear and effective webinars. - Mentorship that is not just lip service. I’ve had the pleasure of working under Eric Sabotka, Dan Lienert, and currently Alyssa Boyle, and I have learned volumes from each of them. All of these people have challenged me, empowered me, and been in the trenches with me in a way that you really don’t see in other property management companies. - Promotions based on merit. This is not a company where you can advance by simply knowing the right people. If your work shines, your reward will be more opportunity. - Empowered and Mission Driven. I can do the right thing for both ownership of the buildings I manage and still care passionately about providing excellent service for our residents. I love the passion here for making a difference. I know that what I do every day matters in a very real way.

Cons

Most of the things I saw could use some work when I started have been corrected in the three years I’ve been with Bozzuto. -They’ve put new emphasis on maintenance, both in team building and training. They’ve revamped the entire maintenance structure and this is a huge improvement - Shout out to Yasmin, our regional engineer, who has been so helpful with our complex capital projects. - They’ve become more serious with compliance management. This keeps things consistent. -They focus on local personalized outreach grassroots marketing allowing for more creativity. - Maybe make the annual manager’s retreat more of an event? That’s the only thing that is less than the prior management companies I’ve worked for.

Wow! What an amazing and thoughtful 5-star review! Thank you for your more than 3 years of service to the company. I appreciate you mentioning that we have worked on items that might have been pain points for some of our employees. We are always looking for ways to improve. It is also wonderful to hear that you’ve learned from your supervisors and appreciate your work/life balance. Thanks for all that you do in the NJ market!
