Pros

For a chain store, BP offers more than most. Technicians are guaranteed a minimum weekly pay. Full benefits are available. Additional pay incentives and overtime premium pay can contribute to higher earnings.

Cons

At one time, health insurance was more affordable. Still, I think I'd rather work for brakes plus than any other large competitor. They have competitive benefits even if it was once a bit better.

It pays more than unemployment.

Cons

The hours are ridiculous. They have found a loop hole to paying Overtime. The pay you as a commissioned salesperson while demanding you work at least 50 hours per week. I make 25% less than the signed documents that I have. Don't miss a day of work because they will deduct 20% of your pay, even though you're working 50+ per week. It is a horrible company.
