Pros

You get to ride your bike around which is inherently pretty fun when the weather is nice. Most of the people who worked here were actually really cool. Hours were actually great. I had a regular 9-5 schedule.

Cons

The pay is unfathomably low for the amount of deliveries you'll do. The speed they expect isn't possible without breaking traffic laws. The HR guy was really obnoxious and rude and I don't think anybody liked him. You're expected to work in everything from snow to rain to whatever...even though 90% of the time when it actually did snow you just ended up being sent home early anyway because....get this...no one else went to work anyway because it was snowing... The pay here is minimum wage and no one tips for this service. You're better off delivering food.

Pros

Great if you're; an avid cyclist, If you love being outside, Admiring beautiful buildings, seeking challenges, want to work hard, self improvement, builds character and humility. Freedom.

Cons

Self management, avoiding traffic, dealing with rude and not helpful security guards and mailroom clerks, sometimes dispatch will contact you if you made a mistake and they speak to you with a demeaning street mentality, for the most part i've had good interactions with everyone else it was honestly one dispatch i had an issue with but i try to do my best so i can avoid problems. The compensation could be better because as a courier you make a commision off each delivery and how long you are holding so every day is different, not saying its a huge con, but definitely you have to do a lot of deliveries to pay your rent and eat well.
