You get rewarded for your expertise by more work, not a merit increase - even when people in equal positions lack technical skills. Analysts are building reports for people in the organization who lack technical skills. They hire analysts who cannot even perform basic excel functions like SUMIF god forbid they introduce concepts of standard deviation. Lots of rule breaking as well. HR is useless and unresponsive when serious infractions are happening at the company. This company deserves a lawsuit.
