Pros

- Great coworkers and friendly customers

Cons

My time at Breakthru Beverage Group was, without question, the most anxiety-inducing work experience I’ve ever had. Beyond the emotional strain, I was consistently overworked and severely underpaid. The company does very little to set employees up for success — a problem I witnessed not just in my own experience, but across multiple teams. Due to poor management and a serious lack of training, it was common to see talented individuals struggle to complete even basic daily tasks. Specifically at the Richmond location, the HR manager created an especially toxic environment. Her condescending and egocentric attitude made it nearly impossible to have a productive or respectful conversation. Attempts to offer feedback were quickly shut down, as she often interrupted and dismissed concerns before they were fully voiced. The one bright spot during my time at Breakthru was my group of coworkers. Their support and camaraderie made the day-to-day somewhat bearable. Unfortunately, that alone isn’t enough to recommend this company. If you are considering an opportunity with Breakthru Beverage Group, I strongly suggest you keep looking. There are far better companies out there that truly invest in their people.

Pros

Flexible hours, co-workers, work semi- independently.

Cons

NO job security! you can be let go anytime they want to do a "restructure". UNREALISTIC data driven goals, they're still working off COVID numbers and don't want to settle back down to reality, basically greed. Pay sucks, you can't get a place to live on your own with the compensation they offer, and the cost for the wear and tear on your vehicle is astounding, the competitors pay better. You're just a number that's micro-managed and they constantly let go of good employees that are making somewhat decent income for the work they put in and replace them with new ones that are paid significantly less with poor work ethics. It's a revolving door. There is no future for sales reps in this company as they are heading to e-commerce to eliminate actual bodies that physically go into stores and engage with owners and managers. How can this be a "best managed company" when there are constant labor disputes, strikes, layoffs, and restructurings? Use to be a good company to work for, once upon a time.
