Thank you for leaving this 5-star review. I am glad that your experience has been a good one. Emtec has had a tremendous amount of growth during the last few years. Although this growth is exciting and positive, it is my job to ensure that we are properly staffed to meet the existing as well as future needs of our employee base. If the HR team hasn't responded in a timely fashion to you in the past, that is something that I want to improve. As the new global HR leader, I am committed to creating the best employment experiences I can for all of our employees. The entire HR team is an important part of that process and I look forward to how the team can improve and find new ways to add value to the business and to the overall employee experience.

Pros

I love the people I work with. I’m constantly learning with every project, and I feel appreciated for my skills and talents. My boss is awesome and gives me a lot of freedom. He's friendly, open, honest, and a great mentor. I think he believes in my abilities more than I sometimes do, which pushes me to take on challenges that help me grow and be a valuable asset to the company. Our team is made up of generally happy people, which makes even the tough jobs feel manageable. I’ve also never worked on a brand I wasn’t excited about, which keeps the work feeling meaningful and fun.

Cons

- The emphasis on time tracking/timesheets creates constant stress around balancing billability and over-logging hours. - My role and responsibilities have grown but my compensation hasn't changed much over the last several years. - No bonuses.

Pros

Decent pay, good people, and remote company.

Cons

Layoffs about every 3 months. Leadership doesn’t disclose. You’ll be looking to reach out to someone about a project and find out they’re not even there anymore. Leadership and management provide little to no training/information yet expect you to perform as if you did. It’s actually very strange. Promotions only given to offshore team members. No culture - the culture is getting the company more money. Poor change management process, yet lots of changes.
