      Pros

      Everyone is supposed to say everything they think, not worrying about politics. Pays well. Decent benefits. Chance to work with some world class people.

      Cons

      Politics becomes a game where you have to pretend it doesn't exist, that everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others. Technology is antiquated. Bureaucracy is stifling. World class people don't tend to stay around long.
