Pros

Brightree is the "market leader" in the space it serves. You have many software companies that sell products and services into "corporate america" and fight and fight for sales to AT&T, General Motors, Boeing, etc. and it's tough -- very competitive. I've worked for software companies like that, even through the "dot com" era where it was like you coud sell anything to anyone. Brightree sells a vastly superior product into a very specific market sector-- the community that serves home care and home medical equipment providers. But for that sector -- the comapny has the MOST EXCELLENT product and service in the industry. The leadership took the best of software technnology and a fantastic business model (SaaS, or Software as a Service) and built a superior product to anyone else in the market place. So that makes it a very exciting place to work -- you are at the "TOP" in terms of resources and services and support that you can offer to the customers-- and the customers are caring people who have businesses that help people -- so not only is it an exciting place to work, but we are "helping people." Our customers serve medicare patients, prosthetic device patients like veterans who come back from war, diabetics, kids and adults who need special wheelchairs-- it's very important work. And our company helps those companies who help all those people. For all these reasons It's quite litterally the best and most rewarding job i've ever had.

Cons

Notice I checked "work life balance" as not the best-- that's becuse there is just so much work to do and it's extremely fullfilling and rewarding and there is lots to be done. We have 1900 customers and somtimes we have 30 or 40 or 50 new customers sign up for the service in a month. So we need to take care of those existing customers AND get the new ones on the service. There is TON's of work to be done. The days are long but it's so hard to find a job where you can 'make a difference" and we are doing that.

This review was written years ago, and is still relevant today. We still enhance the most superior products in the market, and we still focus on the customer. It's not easy, but we have managed to continue to grow without losing site of what got us here.

Pros

Work from home and one a cent increase towards the end of the year not a dollar but cents

Cons

It has become about hitting sales than actually fixing the internal issues within the company no it’s not a sales job but they actually give you a number that you must uphold and make everytime your on call so everytime a patient say no to supplies it’s like they want you to forcefully harass them on call and state the reason on why they should order never mind that folks in this economy on living to paycheck, can’t afford their insurance payment, or are out of job still don’t matter you have to make sure to let them know why it’s important to order plus with them not being able to keep people they have their offer overtime everyday while policing PTO it’s ridiculous handbook say you have two weeks in advance but since they can’t retain enough people now it’s gotten to the point t you must request PTO a month sometimes even three months you’ll either get denied or approve for partial which in your place on a waitlist it’s crazy sometimes I need mental days off cause this job does take you there especially with the rude callers and dumbfounding management also there’s no room to advance only way is to be a team leader and that’s the only way to get advanced other than that if you don’t wanna be a team leader, you’re stuck being in the same role that you were when you first got hired which sucks
