Pros
-the people on my team were great. Some were talented, most were very kind and hard working - most of our clients were great
Cons
- working with a mostly india team in a US timezone is exhausting and not sustainable - most other practice leaders or cross-collaborators did not listen to you unless you were a man. To do so as a woman you need to be very curt and aggressive - there is no standardization across the practice - it's like the wild west. Getting access to "standard" tools for your team when a project starts is cumbersome and often doesn't happen, so we had to find our own tools. - homegrown apps manage almost everything and they are sub-par and slow - client partners sell business at the lowest number - "bargain sales" - often leaving the team understaffed and stressed.
