Pros

Good interactivity between driver and messenger, regarding new drivers, not the regulars. Sure, there are the narcissistic types but they are there in every job people! Supervisors are top notch, giving the proper support and criticism as needed. Benefits are excellent .

Cons

No second chances. Any rule break or omission you are gone. Rather than suspension without pay to have the employee think about their action, there is a suspension then termination. On serious issues this is viable but I am talking about less than serious issues. The job is boring, better if you are a messenger but as a driver, you are stuck in a steel box all day with lousy ventilation (true with all competitors) driving the same route five days a week.

Pros

You can wear sneakers to work

Cons

1. There's no consistency with hours; you're either working OT or less than 35 hours/week 2. Constant blame game when something goes wrong; always problems never solutions 3. No growth opportunity; the GM has admitted upper management does not want to promote from within
