Pros

Competitive pay, Best insurance cover, New technologies, Leader in Networking. Free and very good lunch. Well behaved people and helpful.

Cons

High stress. You need to keep awake late nights, be present early morning. Software managers are in USA and they don't mind calling you up late nights and as early as 4 am. I used to put my phone on silent at nights. New chips keep coming very often; almost one new every month. They don't document their technologies most of the time and hene always at the risk of losing their IP knowledge if master resources leave the organization. This also makes ramp up of new employees very difficult and uncertain. Top most management are very supportive and understanding but the Indian management, who are basically 'mediators' are just ok. Now the company has been taken over by Avago. So can't comment on the situation now. If you're ok to report to 2 to 3 managers, work 60+ hours a week, spend sleepless nights, work in a big MNC that works like a start up but driven by incentives, good pay and benefits ; basically a bachelor, this place is for you.
