Pros
Broadcom has many great people who are there for their love of technology. It is a great environment for engineers and people with STEM related degrees.
Cons
This company has very little respect or support of any non-technical group. These groups are looked on as a necessary evil and are not supported sufficiently with headcount or recognition. They still allow some of the old militaristic culture to survive in some of the long term management and it is damaging to those still working on those teams.
