Positive Experience, Can't stay long - Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Bronx Veterinary Center Employee Review

I got to see a very wide variety of interesting cases that they have the equipment and experince to treat. I was mainly in surgery and a few surgeons were very skilled in advanced surgeries so that was a lot of fun. They keep up to date with equipment. This is the only hospital I worked at that had a ventilator for example. Wonderful staff, management and ownership. I learned so much. Only reason I'm not still there is because I had to move out of state.

Well, it's vet med. Same issues everywhere but they are very good at terminating rude clients.

The only reason to work here would be to work with the animals.

This is a family run business which may sound great but in this instance, if you are not family they will toss you out like nothing. The only employees that have actually worked there for years have been family. They will lie to find an excuse to fire you and still sleep good at night. These people do not know how to run a business. Let alone they sell expired treats to pets. One of our responsibilities was removing expiration dates off of our retail treats because they were all expired. I hope this helps :)
