      Pros

      BronxWorks' strength is providing very real, very needed community-based social services to its population. From homelessness to childcare to rent support and much more, it makes a big difference in people's lives.

      Cons

      The internal politics and unwillingness to learn and adapt how things are huge barriers for progress. It wears out any employees trying to make things better or suggest improvements. Program data and impact reporting are almost nonexistent.

      Friendly Coworkers Contacts with high level city employees Ample vacation time Healthcare and Pension Benefits

      Cons

      Low pay No growth Higher Executives earn way more than supposed to be in an NPO, just like wikipedia senior executives earn a lot and still begs for pennies to customers.

      Plenty of employee benefits to opt into. Generous PTO. Trainings and tools for mental health awareness and self care.

      Cons

      Communication could be better I'm some instances. No clear progression for certain positions. Office politics/favoritism can jam up cultivating stronger workforce.
