It's higher management that's the issue. - Housing Specialist BronxWorks Employee Review

Pros

The work is rewarding and your immediate staff may actually be really cool.

Cons

Case managers are almost always overworked with an average caseload of about 20-30 people. The shelter I worked at serviced 200 men. But it's manageable. Immediate staff such as supervisor, assistant site director and director are cool but above them is where the issues exist.

Thank you for your feedback and your service. Pay scale is within industry standards and is determined by contracts not upper management.
