The clients are incredibly resilient people and working with them felt so rewarding. Days are busy which makes the time go by fast and you get to go out into the field with clients to take them to their appointments and grocery shopping etc. so you're not just sitting at a computer all day every day. Great training opportunities.
Cons
Upper management is truly atrocious. My mental health definitely suffered from a complete lack of support and disregard for the hard work of case managers. It felt like we were always being punished and I'm not sure why. Toxic environment made it so that case managers never lasted at the job more than 2 years.

Higher Executives earn way more than supposed to be in an NPO, just like wikipedia senior executives earn a lot and still begs for pennies to customers.
Plenty of employee benefits to opt into. Generous PTO. Trainings and tools for mental health awareness and self care.
Cons
Communication could be better I'm some instances. No clear progression for certain positions. Office politics/favoritism can jam up cultivating stronger workforce.
