I love the team at Brook. We all work together to brainstorm ideas and finish projects. My coworkers are open to talking through questions I have and giving me feedback when I need it. I enjoy the collaborative process and I love creating new and exciting things - I get to be creative here.

I live pretty far so my commute is about an hour each way. Luckily it is close to bus lines, though, so I don't have to worry about parking.

Strong relationships among the staff-level employees.

The management culture here is built on intimidation rather than leadership. There is a frequent 'bully' mentality where senior staff shift blame downward for their own errors. Instead of addressing root causes, leadership tends to react with hostility when things go wrong. The hiring process is also deeply flawed. There is a consistent pattern of hiring individuals for senior roles who lack the basic competencies required for the job. This creates a cycle where the few capable employees are forced to carry the workload of incompetent management while being criticized for it. It is a high-turnover environment because anyone with a strong professional standard eventually leaves to protect their sanity.
