Pros
If you take initiative and ask for more responsibilities, there is a LOT of room for professional and personal growth at this organization There is a scholarship program, which has allowed me to further my education - The Carl and Sue Howe Scholarship Fund The campus is beautiful - 220 acres half a mile away from the main road Friendly staff members and a sense of community - there has been a yoga instructor, meditation specialist, zumba instructor, etc on staff who have offered free classes on campus to staff members after work/during lunchtime Management is very caring/understanding toward staff members
Cons
The only downside about Brooke Grove is that I could probably be making more money at another company... However, the personal and emotional benefits of working here make up for the lack of pay. There is not a single day that I have dreaded coming into work, and I genuinely feel like I have peace of mind working here. Also, I've seen management be VERY accommodating to staff members who are in school (like me), who have families, and who are sick. I've found that its rare for an organization to care about staff like this, and to me this is priceless.
