Pros
Salary, benefits, challenging sales environment.
Cons
Cronyism and internal politics have priority over competence. Management also has found ways to fire people who've made President's Club for many years if they're suddenly facing a serious health issue. Company rules and Code of Ethics are only enforced against people not within management's inner circle. For example, some people who break rules constantly and put the company in legal jeopardy somehow get promoted. Others aren't given the common courtesy that would be expected of for all productive employee. Upper management will also insist that they take prospective sales candidates out to lunch and have made fun of many of them which shows a total lack of professionalism. Being discreet and just not hiring someone would be what other companies do. Upper management thinks it's OK to humiliate candidates they don't feel are up to snuff. Yes, I could go one and on. Unfortunately, it's all true.
