Pros

This job has provided for myself and my family for years and for that I am grateful. The coworkers were awesome and became amazing friends.

Cons

This is going to be hefty to buckle up. Robert. Robert. Robert. I can't say that I was shocked to read so many other reviews talking about this man. He is an incredible business person but has ZERO social skills whatsoever. In my opinion, someone who has the ability to confuse, belittle, and give their employees a sick feeling anytime they step through the front door has NO BUSINESS being the CEO. He does this weird thing where he grabs your elbow when he talks to you. His compliments are far from sincere and people pick up on that. We aren't dumb. His most recent power trip included moving around some of the higher paid/tenured store directors and replacing them with someone who he can pay less to do the same job. No one can hold a candle to Robert's greed and selfishness. He has little regard for the well-being of his employees and I truly believe that the only reason he is even paying them benefits is that he has to legally. Robert came to the funeral of one of my family members and acted like he was a celebrity like everyone was just supposed to know who he was. This is how it goes when he marches through his stores barking orders at people. His son, Richard is no different. No respect, and thinks everyone would worship the ground that they walk on. But I can't blame Richard, it's all he's ever seen.

Pros

The benefits are decent, and its convenient to work in a grocery store.

Cons

Your workload is next to impossible, your budget restraints are next to impossible, and the corporate office has no tact, nor ability to see things from a human element. They see numbers and spreadsheets.
