Pros

Wasn't expecting the startup atmosphere and vibe for a company that has been around for over 20 years and has been as successful as them. Huge support from management and everyone is ready to help for any cause. Very collaborative and investment in the company and its direction is apparent. DataV solution is legitimate and Fortune 500 companies are beginning to partner with Bsquare for its value. Great benefits, pay, free parking, lots of free food and drinks, events, great office space.

Cons

No cons, but closest would be with the large shift in their focus as of the past year they are still learning (like a startup) of what does and doesn't work with some of their current practices.

Thank you! We implemented our Work Anywhere policy in early 2020 and it was well received. And one of our leadership teams’ goals is to be transparent with our team members on all aspects of the state of the business. We are glad to hear that is being felt throughout the company.

Pros

I worked at Bsquare for over 9 years and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. There are all sorts of personalities and styles through the company but what unites everyone is the desire to implement embedded & IoT technologies. If you're interested at all in those areas you should give Bsquare a look. My favorite parts of working for Bsquare: 1. Great company culture and super intelligent workforce. 2. Nice giveaways like free Pop/Coffee and weekly fruit supply. 3. New technology everywhere always. 4. Serious stability with plenty of cash in the bank to weather even the worst of storms. 5. Exciting development in the products area with DataV.

Cons

I can't think of too many bad things to say about Bsquare. Like a lot of technology companies in the IoT space they're working hard on new initiatives to drive revenue and provide customers with better access to knowledge from their data. If you're not interested in an agile approach to new business areas and development this might not be the place for you. But if you like the stability of a medium sized company partnered with the excitement of new technology initiatives then Bsquare should be at the top of your list.
