Pros

Exceptional pay for no experience needed, however you will definetly be working for it. Great benefits, overall honest work that gives you good compensation. Seems easy to move up and build a career in management, you will have to go train other stores for this oppurtunity.

Cons

They are strict about many things such as call outs and will write you up due to general life circumstances. Work isn't entirely difficult but can become exhausting, it really just depends where they decide to put you for the day. Busier season = more pay but more work (10 hour shifts) so thats just up for preference.

The employees are amazing and very kind. It’s sad they have to go through what they go through with toxic management.

Cons

The management there sucks. Most are 2 faced. They do not realize that they are in a small town and that to local people they are just a more expensive version of Walmart. Actually I would pick Walmart over this Buc-ee’s any day. I had 4 interviews with them for them not to even give a reason to why they wouldn’t hire except I was not Buc-ee’s material. If anyone knows what that means…… they micromanage everything. Employees are scared to do anything bc they never know when they will be fired at any giving second of the day. This place is suppose to be family oriented but they definitely are not…. This is a terrible place to work. You’re always in fear of loosing your job,. Money sounds good but it is not worth it if you want to keep your sanity.
