Pros

The starting pay is great. You can typically get as many hours as you want. Great opportunity to build relationships with customers.

Cons

They're incredibly strict with their dress code. Not having your shirt tucked in or your ID badge is a fire-able offense. I worked at a small store and we weren't allowed any breaks. We had to grab bites in between customers in the back storage room. They do not offer benefits or vacation time. They're open 365 and barely closed when Ike came through.

Pros

The employees are amazing and very kind. It’s sad they have to go through what they go through with toxic management.

Cons

The management there sucks. Most are 2 faced. They do not realize that they are in a small town and that to local people they are just a more expensive version of Walmart. Actually I would pick Walmart over this Buc-ee’s any day. I had 4 interviews with them for them not to even give a reason to why they wouldn’t hire except I was not Buc-ee’s material. If anyone knows what that means…… they micromanage everything. Employees are scared to do anything bc they never know when they will be fired at any giving second of the day. This place is suppose to be family oriented but they definitely are not…. This is a terrible place to work. You’re always in fear of loosing your job,. Money sounds good but it is not worth it if you want to keep your sanity.
