Pros
Ummm nothing really? Other than competitive pay compared to other job opportunities in the area.
Cons
Even though employees EARN vacation hours, the GM would dictate to when you could take them. You couldn't take vacation while someone else was gone, but the GM was such a hypocrite and would always take her vacation on busy weekends. She would also tell you that you couldn't take your vacation a certain day then take her vacation on the same day you wanted. She would also get EVERY holiday off and make her least favorite employees work. Favoritism was a HUGE problem. Most employees used their phones and had poor customer service. Once a customer would complain about how rude they were the GM would stick up for them because they were "favorites". There were only a few employees that got treated very poor (myself included) and if we made one minor mistake we got yelled at and talked down to like some sort of animal being scolded. Breaks were almost non existent to the non favorite employees while the favorites got to take 30 minute breaks and never leave time for anyone else to eat. So that left some people eating at the register(which is against company policy). Employees would disappear for long periods of time and go hide in the bathroom on their phones, even on our busy days and weekends. DRAMA!! One thing that will come with working at some stores is lots of drama. Especially working with all women who act like teenage girls. ****STUDENTS: They will work with your school schedule, but once it starts conflicting with their schedule or their favorite employees schedules they won't change it for you to be able to attend school.
