Pros
Honestly... I can't really think of any!
Cons
Shady management and HR - they'll find a reason to fire you if you get hurt on the job, and could care less about it too <--- literally slipped and sprained my ankle, did the drug test and the doctor's appointment as they wanted, missed some days due to pain and not being able to stand on this leg, go to work and get terminated for "missing too many days prior to the incident"... This officially got them out of covering workman's compensation and shows that they don't treat their employees like humans at all. You're just a slave to them, and that's about it. Management thinks they're God's gift to mankind. Literally you'll be treated like garbage and nothing more. Oh... Unless you're one of the "rats" and get into the groove of telling them everything you hear and see. Only a 20 minute break for an 8-10 hour shift. Not sure how they legally can get away with this at all. Don't be in the bathroom for longer than 5 minutes because you'll get paged over the system that they need you back at your station. Car trouble - they don't care. If you're more than 1 minute late it's an automatic write up. Even with calling in like they tell you to do... And if you have to miss your shift for some reason, you better be prepared to get interrogated and asked what's going on 2 hours prior to when your shift starts. PTO is a joke... Better not get sick, miss a day, or have something happen because they'll suck it dry and fast. You're supposed to get 10 days of unpaid time off - this isn't true at all. Employees who are known as "bullies" are basically still allowed to work --- no matter how many complaints have been told to management, HR, and other people in higher up places. If you have a mental illness or issue (anxiety for instance) they could care less. If you think you "matter" to this company you better think twice about that... Because you don't. Pay was good to begin with. My department (deli) got a 1$ raise (never told specifically why) and then other departments found out about it and hatred started forming. So, sure 21$ an hour isn't bad right... Wrong. Honestly for the way you're treated, walked all over, and the way customers treat you - it isn't worth it at all.
