Cons

Your role can change drastically in as little as 3-6 months. Should people in your team or area leave or be let go likely their job will become your job for no additional compensation or respect. It can lead to eventually changing what your goals are.

I really really enjoyed working for Buffalo. Great team. Great managers. But the pay is horrible. I've heard things have slightly changed since my tenure. If you are a person that is interested in learning about NAS, Active Directory, FTP, SSL, Cloud-based storage and more, this is the job for you. It's a great beginning to the world of Network Administration and Tier 2,3... Technical Support

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement. The salary rate is what's keeping IT personnel from staying there for a while but I'm sure they'll increase it if they haven't. I cannot comment on benefits due to being hired thru a recruiting agency.
