I got very few shifts; because they were short, I didn't make that much for the coming school year. And while some of the kids could be very sweet, there are always the few that are hard to handle. You'll have to learn how to manage birthday parties. In my experience, I had kids hit me and their party guests with their bears and just generally be uncooperative. Parents, including the birthday kids, will drop their kid off and high tail it to the food court, so they are little to no help reigning them in.
