Pros

Great people and direct managers (at least from my experience) No micromanagement in your day-to-day Remote first company Reasonable PTO, although not "unlimited" as they claim

Cons

Pay is not competitive (Salaries haven't changes the last 2+ years)- Culture is being used as an excuse to pay less. SVP telling employees "If you are here for the money, you should re-evaluate your priorities." - Completely out of touch Whilst I appreciate that Art told the company himself about the Layoffs, it was not handled well in my opinion. Little ownership from C-suite that they indeed screwed the company with poor financial decisions. The follow on Hands on meeting was full of excuses and attempted guild triping when employees asked about details regarding cut bonuses. Little progression in terms of promotions or career opportunities. Most established employees are leaving due to lack of appreciation. Horrible decisions about not fixing core product functionality - upset clients, as they are paying for these functionalities, however the company wants to sell addon products instead to get core functionality back

I am really sorry you feel that way. We have been undergoing a transformation in support over the past 3 months. Look, there has been a ton of change and we have been transparent with our vision. In fact, most employees are energized by the direction of the organization; we received an employee satisfaction score (NPS) of +46 in the survey we did last month. It is OK if you are not personally bought into the new direction; accountability and high expectations are not for everyone. I would like to talk to you about this directly. I want to hear what you have to say. But, either you want to help us build the organization we want to create, or you don't. If you don't, I'd encourage you to find a role at a different organization so that the folks who are positively charged by our vision can move forward as a team Matt Fischer, President & COO

Pros

Super solid culture with amazing values. Focus on innovation and future growth. Amazing CEO and leadership team. Transparent communication about the good and the bad. Consistent employee engagement initiatives (mental health, ERGs, summer and holiday parties). Growth opportunities are not drawn out for you, but they're available if you are curious, hungry and share a vision for growth.

Cons

(not a con for me, but ...) fast-paced, work hard, play hard culture

Pros

Approachable leadership that leads by example Excellent managers Top notch culture and people Flexible and remote work options Great work/life balance Unlimited PTO Solid health benefits + 401K Mentorship program Always evolving - keeps you on your toes Constant learning opportunities

Cons

Always evolving can also be a con - while I personally thrive in this setting, the constant change can (and has been) not ideal for some, especially in the last few years.

This is an incredibly thoughtful review. What sticks with me is the part on seasons and living through each of them. Getting through winter makes the summer feel just that much better, and while you're toughing it out, the relationships only deepen in times of challenge. It's a really good analogy. Thanks for giving me a few to mull on this morning. Hope you continue to love it here, thrive here through all the seasons ahead! - Kelley Morse, CPO
