Pros
Working at a regional office of Burns & McDonnell provided me with an opportunity to utilize my marketing skills on a local level, but also interface with the corporate communications department. The health benefits and employee-ownership program were two of the better reasons that I enjoyed working for the firm.
Cons
Unfortunately, there were no opportunities to progress to a higher role on a regional level. This may have changed in the past few years.
