Pros

The amount of vacation, PTO, and sick time offered is generous and typically flexible, which is a great perk. However, with a new manager taking over, it's uncertain how that might change. There is room to move up and out of the Customer Care department.

Cons

In most jobs, change is inevitable—but imagine being told that your schedule, job duties, or even who you report to will change, effective immediately, with no prior notice. In this company, upper management and other departments rarely share important information with the advisors who are actually dealing with customers on the front lines. When problems arise, employees are often gaslighted and told to do the same to customers until it's undeniable that something is broken. There is little to no trust from upper management towards those in the trenches. And frankly, it's hard to build trust when turnover is so high. I gave up learning people's names early on—if you've been here three years, you're considered an "old-timer." Low pay. The local Wendy's starts at $16 an hour, so does this bank.

Pros

Decent pay, benefits and great coworkers. Although, majority of the legacy and some newer employees left.

Cons

Senior management in Champaign, IL didn't understand the Chicagoland market.
