Founder has created a fear-based environment where restructuring is a weekly occurrence, the rules are suffocating and mean, and subject matter experts are disempowered. Todd, the founder, believes he is the subject matter expert in marketing, human resources, sales, finance, legal, leadership and software development, so while he hires SME's he refuses to allow them to do their jobs because he knows better. This is a start up that is going nowhere, and a very unhealthy environment. If you decide to check it out, request a copy of the employee manual before signing on...

Pros

This is a great company with paths to continue developing. You are not just a number you are part of a family. Management really makes you feel like your opinion matters. Having ideas and not being able to share them with management is frustrating, at Buy It Installed they listen. I believe the way this company is headed they will be a Fortune 500 company within the next 5 years. Great ideas and development to move forward in today's world. Very exciting.
