I'm going to try and keep this brief, as this could potentially be its own blog. I saw the culture go down hill drastically and become oppressive and depressing. The company does not prioritize the right projects and everyone gets assigned busy work . One person, Todd, dictates what the entire company and each department should be working on, rather than allowing the department leads to lead their departments and set their own priorities. When Todd is out of the office, actual work gets completed and the office becomes a better place to be. Todd is not a mean person, but he's paranoid, doesn't trust people, and a micro-manager like you've never seen. He makes working at BII a con in and of itself. I hear the company will run out of money soon, unless they can get more investors, so it may be a risky proposition taking a miserable job with them.
Lastly, there is no work-life balance and I know some of the management puts in 60+ hour work weeks. If you are salaried, they make you work a lot of mandatory overtime.
