      -Unrealistic expectations on leaders - to develop careers, conduct skill training, lead projects and manage HR related concerns even when hospitalized. -No work life balance. Required to work out office hours without any payment. Impact on salary increment if don't comply. -Toxic environment with widespread mistrust on the senior management with manipulative policies - Lack of clarity over Performance review expectations with (No increments/bonus/internal transfer not allowed) -Frequent changes on SOP/ KPI lacking clarity & communication. -Overall, high employee turnover rate as organization practices short term approach, lacking leadership and clear direction

      The pay is competitive, and the overall compensation package is fairly good.

      Cons

      If you are not Chinese, career advancement can be significantly more difficult, especially when it comes to promotion opportunities and visibility with leadership. I previously worked in HR compliance at ByteDance. While large-scale layoffs may happen less frequently than at some other companies, the company may use many unusual or legally questionable approaches to pressure employees to resign or justify termination. Employees should be very careful, understand company policies, and keep written records of important conversations.
