Pros

By far the best part of C-4 is the people, as many of the other reviews state. You never have to worry about asking someone for help or advice as almost everyone is friendly, helpful, and insightful across all teams (account management, social, creative, and programmatic). Another major pro of working at C-4 is the experience that you gain. From Google Analytics to AdWords to reporting tools and client communication skills you will master a slew of programs and abilities that will make you extremely valuable to multiple employers.

Cons

One major con is the pay, which is low, even for the advertising industry. Having such a low salary makes it difficult to stay loyal to the company when working full time barely pays well enough to make rent/ mortgage each month. Unless you prove yourself by working hard and get on the right people's side your salary bump when you do get promoted will not make much of a difference. In addition to the low salary, those in the executive suite are very out-of-touch with the rest of the company. They always ask the account management team for referrals from existing clients, but then give the AM a hard time and will often low-ball when compensation time rolls around. Finally, there is a major problem with clients saying "jump" and the company asking "how high?" Client retention is obviously important, but management will often ask AMs to go to extreme lengths to please a client, often to the point where it has negative connotations on existing, happy clients because the goals of the happy clients have to be pushed to the side to make way for the angry client.

Pros

Industry-Leading Training: Known for a robust "C-4 University" style onboarding and continuous learning. It is an excellent place for recent grads to learn the fundamentals of SEO, SEM, and multi-channel digital strategy. Fast-Paced Career Trajectory: Because it is a high-growth agency, there are frequent opportunities for internal promotion for those who demonstrate high performance and take initiative. Merit-Based Culture: Employees often note that impact matters more than tenure; if you deliver results, you are noticed and rewarded. Collaborative Peers: One of the most cited pros is the "smart, young, and energetic" workforce. The team environment is supportive, and coworkers are generally willing to help each other solve complex client problems.

Cons

High-Pressure Environment: The agency operates in the fast-moving automotive sector. This often leads to tight deadlines and a "high-octane" atmosphere that can feel stressful during month-end reporting or major client launches.

Pros

The people were pretty cool, my team was close and everyone was chill.

Cons

The grind is honestly insulting. There were days where I worked 10+ hours and still couldn't get everything done. Imagine being responsible for every facet of a client account. SEO, SEM, Social, Website, and having to hold weekly meetings to discuss performance, even when there were no changes week over week. Now, multiply that effort to 11-15 clients. Get the picture? I swear I spent the last hour of every day sitting at my desk in my home office crying because of all the things there were to do. I spent my daughter's first birthday party lost in my head about the reports that had to be filed first thing Monday morning, all the landing pages that had to be submitted, all the specials that needed to get done. And the worst part, C-4 GLORIFIES this level of workload, like doing this job for way less pay than is fair is this badge of honor, or the price of admission for working for their 'winning company'. If you're okay with your job being 90% of your existence, this is the place for you. If not, run. Run away from that recruiter telling you you'd be a great fit for C-4 and don't look back.
