Pros
When you think of the auto space you might think of TV commercials and direct mail but that has changed. Today it’s a competitive market and war is waged on the digital frontier. I help wage that war. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my clients ranking soar as their competitors flounder. It’s just a great feeling. I am also fortunate to work with really great people every single day. Each day is a new challenge and no two days are alike. I’m constantly using technology and data to help my clients get ahead. There is nothing better than the people I work with.
Cons
I have good clients and I have bad clients. The biggest problem working here are the bad clients. Automotive is a cut-throat industry and your clients have a lot of pressure to perform. They sometimes transfer their pressure on to you. Bad clients don’t listen, think they know everything and yell at you when they make mistakes. They also think TV and Newspaper are the answers to everything. Those types of clients ultimately will never be successful. Management does a good job of knowing when the issue is internal or a client and will have your back but some clients can be downright difficult to manage.
