Pros
Some people here are friendly
Cons
Unfulfilling work. Repetitive mouse clicks all day, every day. High turnover. People don't stay here very long, so prepare to do extra work when half of your team quits within a few months. And no, you won't be rewarded for your extra efforts. If anything, you'll be talked down to when you struggle to complete all the added work you're getting. Managers are here to screw you, not help you. Out of a half dozen or so managers I had, only one was a pleasure to work for. The others were condescending and had no clue what they were doing. If you ask them for help you will be ignored, but if you screw up they will stop everything they have going on to lecture you. On top of that, many managers here never miss an opportunity to slack off or break rules they created themselves. Managers are not held accountable at all. There's a ton of construction going on around the building that's pretty annoying to deal with. Sometimes it doesn't feel safe to walk around. Apparently this will be going on for years as the area is in the process of being gentrified. TMC doesn't really allow working from home. WFH is becoming increasingly popular nowadays and more and more employers allow it, but TMC chooses not to budge on this. Limited to no opportunities to advance or earn valuable experience. There's a good chance you'll be stuck at the same role for years. Even if you do move on to something else, there aren't many options. Most of the interesting job openings require a crazy amount of experience and training that employees cannot acquire from working at TMC Most employees here are underpaid. Even worse is there's no clear direction on what you can do to prove yourself to earn more. When goals are discussed, it's completely subjective.
