Pros

just money.... thats it....just money. Yes..you can make substantial amounts of money but the trade-off is that you take home unethical stress (both unethical in the amount and the cause).

Cons

I had a whole essay on cons that i deleted to replace with one actual example... Long story short... Was "asked" to re-negotiate a year long contract for a rate for a carrier(client) of mine that had taken care of this exact business for many years. I tried to re-negotiate but the desired rate by CH was under the market rate and these companies had aways accommodated us with fair rates and superb service. So when they disagreed i couldn't help but understand their perspective. I took this information back to the respective customer team to discuss other possibilities and their response to me was that if i could not get the job done they would find someone else who could. They proceeded to pull that business from my client and gave it to someone else's client who didn't even hit the original desired rate but undercut my client's rate by a few bucks (less then $30 difference). Not 2 weeks later we received unsettling news from the customer that their service had been so sporadic and poor in the past few days that they were considering pulling the business from CH entirely. This is very common. Sacrificing quality for margins and making deals that will change to fit CH's mold. All the power is on one side and if your not on board and willing to do WHATEVER it takes they will replace you in 2 clicks of a computer mouse.

Pros

Not much that I can think of, would say its decent pay but they move the goal posts on goals every year so once you get comfortable with your goals and achieving your target to them hitting the reset button and back to square one

Cons

The culture has shifted in a very negative direction. Top performers can still feel boxed in by limited growth opportunities, changing expectations, and compensation structures that do not always reflect actual performance. There is a heavy focus on control, office attendance, and short-term metrics, while trust and morale continue to decline. It can feel political, exhausting, and disconnected from the people actually driving results. Very toxic for capacity reps, they do everything wrong and contstantly are the whipping posts for commercial teams who are always in the right
