Pros
I have been at Communispace for 2 years and I can't believe how lucky I am. The company does work that makes me proud every day, and the people are charismatic and smart. The Communispace solution is a breakthrough for clients and it is rewarding to feel like you are making a difference. I also feel that this is a super well-managed company. The CEO cares so much -- and the openness and transparency from management are almost shocking! I have been promoted already, and there were about 20 people who were promoted last week. I work about 45 hours per week, which is average here, I'd say.
Cons
The standards here are very high. People who might excel in other firms might just be average at Communispace and as a result, they whine about the culture. I read the comments about our Values Awards in other posts here. Those Values Awards are voted on by employees and not management, and there is lots of other recognition. We definitely need more formal training, but there are lots of opportunities to learn from staff meetings to LunchNLearns.
